Robert Thomas Hill-Johnson was sentenced to 18 to 40 years in prison Monday for Criminal Sexual Conduct with a 14-year old Harrison girl.
Hill-Johnson was arrested and arraigned on four counts of 1st degree CSC in December, reportedly after his roommate turned him in to deputies.
Clare County Prosecutor Michelle Ambrozaitis said Hill-Johnson, also from Harrison, “had initially dated the girl’s mother and lived in the family home for a period of time. The girl looked up to the defendant as a father figure.” Ambrozaitis said.
Hill-Johnson pled guilty to two counts of CSC 3rd degree as a fourth time habitual offender on January 9. Circuit Court Judge Roy Mienk sentenced the man February 13 to 18 to 40 years with credit for 62 days already served, and to sex offender registration as a Tier III offender, a lifetime-quarterly registration.
He was also ordered to have no contact with the victim, to pay $68 in state costs, $130 Crime Victim Rights fee, and $1,700 in fines, costs, and court appointed attorney fees.
Hill-Johnson will be transferred to the Department of Corrections.
