Harrison was swept by visiting Roscommon on Wednesday night, falling to the Lady Bucks 25-8, 25-11 and 25-6 in Jack Pine Conference volleyball play.
The Hornets were forced to play without two of their top hitters in Allison Lipovsky and Jessica Scherrer.
“Both our middles are out and we moved some players into new places,” Harrison head coach Larry Flemming said. “I’m not saying that is the whole problem but it does not help when you play a great team like Roscommon.”
Courtney King led the team with 26 digs, Haley Sulla had 20 and Mackenzie Lincoln had 16. Alexis LaChappa had three aces and two blocks, Katelyn Sherrick had 14 digs, three blocks, two kills and served at 83 percent.
The Lady Hornets also fell to Meridian on Wednesday, Sept. 11 to open up league play, 25-11, 25-12 and 25-17, though stats were not provided.
Harrison (0-2 JPC) plays at Gladwin on Monday and hosts Farwell on Wednesday.
