Hope In Harrison, formerly Hope Pregnancy Center, celebrates a grant of over $2,200 from the Clare County Community Foundation. Jon Hoerauf, Executive Director of Hope In Harrison said, “This money will be used to help fund our expansion. We have recently moved into a new, larger office located near the US127 and M61 interchange. Not only were we able to more than double our space for mentoring, but this move also puts us in a more convenient location for our clients from Clare, Farwell, Lake, and Gladwin.”

Along with the physical growth, Hope In Harrison has added new programming to what they already offer. Hoerauf said, “Hope In Harrison is a non-profit agency that is supported by individuals, businesses, and churches in Clare and Gladwin Counties. This community support allows us to offer all of our services free of charge to anyone who needs them. We offer pregnancy tests, one-on-one parent mentoring, a brand new men’s mentoring program, and abstinence education.” A major portion of this grant is designated for the new men’s mentoring program called High Impact Mentoring. This program is geared for young men (ages 17-30) and will be offered either one-on-one or in small groups.

The new office is located at 498 N. Clare Avenue Harrison, MI and their phone number is 989-539-3911. Hoerauf can be reached at jon@HopeInHarrison.org.
