The Harrison Lady Hornets ended the regular season at the Roscommon quad meet on Wednesday, Oct. 24, suffering losses in all three games.
Harrison fell to Beaverton 25-20 and 25-21 in the first match.
“As we always do we came out like we were going to finally get that win that we can get,” Harrison head coach Larry Flemming said. “Then something happens that just doesn’t go the way we thought it should.”
Erica Heckman had six kills and two digs in the match, Olivia Sharp had 12 assists, with Taylor Bondie adding three kills, three digs and two blocks.
The Lady Hornets then fell to Gladwin 25-19, 23-25 and 25-16.
“The third game we were up for a good part of the game,” Flemming said. “Something happened that I still don’t know. Whatever it was we stayed with the team for the rest of the game, giving the game and match to Gladwin.”
Bondie had eight kills and three digs, Sharp had six kills, 28 assists, four blocks and two digs with Hillary Brewer adding five kills, two blocks and two digs.
In their final match of the night, the Lady Hornets lost to Roscommon 25-2 and 25-17.
“We only got two points (in the first set) and that was because they served it into the net,” Flemming said. “Part way through the next game they finally shook it off but it was too late and Roscommon was on fire.”
Bondie had three kills and Sharp had nine assists.
Harrison began play in the McBain district this week.
