James Harold “Jim” Martin

James Harold “Jim” Martin-age 75 passed away on Friday, November 25, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac. Jim was born on July 2, 1936, in Pontiac, the son of Harold and Mildred (Larson) Martin.  Friends may visit on Monday, November 28th from 2-8PM and on Tuesday from 11AM until the time of his funeral service at 1PM at the Campbell-Stocking Family Funeral Home in Farwell. Rev. Jerry Lovett will officiate. Jim proudly served our country with the United States Army, and worked for Ford Motor Company. He married Dianne Kruszewski on April 25, 1970 in Pontiac. Together they raised seven children. He was a member of the Lake Eagles, Post #533, and UAW Local #898. He loved snowmobiling, cycling, hunting, watching sports, and nature. His real passion was his love of music, gospel music in particular. He recorded his own CD and loved to karaoke. He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 41 years, Dianne, four sons; James, Joe, Jay, and Craig Martin, three daughters; Terry Jo Hopp, Robbin Hartman, and Roxanne Sereno, fourteen grandchildren; Terry, Josh, Duane, James, Joey, Jenifer, Jacob, Jessie, Natasia, Jonathan, Daphne, Zoe, Xavier, and Heather, three great grandchildren; Clara, Quinn, Denassa, one brother, George Martin and wife Jan, and two sisters, Elsie Landin, and Martie Witkop and husband Dick.
