Joseph Sarkozi

Joseph Sarkozi, age 86, of Harrison, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, at his home.  He was born the son of James and Elizabeth (Machauchak) Sarkozi on Nov. 24, 1925, in Chicago, Illinois.  He served in the US Navy during WWII, and married Marguerite Brown on July 3, 1948 and she survives him.  Joseph had been a machinist by trade and had worked at Future Mold prior to retirement.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, and was an accomplished woodworker.  He was a member of the Harrison American Legion Post #404.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 1:00 PM from the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home with the Rev. Nancy Casey-Fulton officiating.  Burial will be in the North Brinton Cemetery.  Friends may meet with his family on Tuesday, Feb. 7, from 5 to 8 PM.  Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Woodland Hospice.  If you are unable to attend, you are invited to sign the Sarkozi family online condolence register at www.stephenson-wyman.com
