Laverty, Ringleberg named to CCCF Board

February 27, 2015

Two new trustees were recently welcomed to the Clare County Community Foundation (CCCF) board, while an existing trustee will take over as treasurer.
New trustees welcomed to the board include retired Farwell Public Schools teacher Larry Laverty as well as retired attorney Jon Ringleberg. Taking over as board treasurer is MidMichigan Medical Center – Clare and Gladwin President and CEO Ray Stover.

New board members are nominated by the existing board and voted in during the CCCF year-end annual meeting. All trustees must be members of the community foundation prior to appointment.

“We’re excited to welcome Larry and Jon to the team,” said Jim Allen, CCCF Executive Director. “It’s important to have dedicated, professional volunteers who can help lead the foundation as we work to grow our membership and continue efforts to support the communities within Clare County.”

CCCF members are those residents who have chosen to make a donation of any amount to a fund held at the foundation. Several funds exist which are dedicated to a variety of causes, all impacting Clare County. For more information, visit CCCF online at or contact them at 989.839.9661.
