A Harrison man, Dustin Middleton, 23, is facing multiple charges after he allegedly assaulted a 17-year-old Harrison man April 18.

Deputies responded to the Cranberry Lake Road complaint in Hayes Township around 8:20 p.m. and arrested Middleton.

While he was being transported to Clare County Jail, Deputies said he kicked out the real window of the patrol unit and damaged the vehicle’s door frame. At the jail the suspect reportedly assaulted corrections officers, with one officer taken to MidMichigan Medical Center – Clare for treatment of minor injuries.

Middleton was arraigned in 80th District Court by Magistrate Karen Willing on charges including Assault and Battery, two counts of Assault of Prison Employees and Malicious Destruction of Police Property. His bond was set at $6,000/10 percent. He remains lodged at the Clare County Jail.

My husband and I are family/friends of Dustin Middleton. We’ve been trying to find him for some time. Can you help us know how to connect with him?
