Marjorie E. Shull, age 91 of Clare, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012. Marjorie was born the daughter of George S. and Rose (Schug) House on November 1, 1920 in Isabella County. She was united in marriage to Garth Shull on June 8, 1941 with him predeceasing her on March 13, 1978. Marjorie was a lifelong resident of the Central Michigan area. She enjoyed caring for her lawn and tending to her rose and vegetable gardens. Early on in their marriage Marjorie and Garth raised and trained Horses. Together they competed in Horse Shows; she had a real love for her horses. Marjorie enjoyed traveling, but her family was the most important thing in her life. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Clare.
Marjorie is survived by her children Janice (James) Frederick of Largo, Florida, Marlene (Dennis) Lemke of Clare, Ronald Shull of Lansing, Phyllis (Paul) DiGabriele of Apollo Beach, Florida and Robert Shull of Clare; her siblings Homer (Janet) House of Clare, Eleanor (Ed) Schlafley of Manistee, Florence (William) McEachern of Minnesota and Eileen (Gerald) Wood of Clare; a sister-in-law Janet House of Clare; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Marjorie was predeceased by her parents and brothers and a sister-in-law William (Ethel) House, Arnold House and Reginald House.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Clare with Pastor Randy Emmorey officiating. Burial will take place in the Cherry Grove Cemetery in Clare.
