New print shop opens at the Review

The Clare county Review Print Shop and Design Center opened February 3 at the newspaper office, 2141 West Ludington Drive.

Managed by Brandi Higgins, the new business will have full-color business cards, brochures, flyers, postcards, and full-color copies, as well as envelopes, letterheads, door hangers and menus, “any type of printing up to 11 inches by 17 inches,” Brandi said.

The new center will also offer logo design, all types of graphic design, direct mailing, marketing, self-inking rubber stamps and even web design.

Brandi, also a sales representative for the Clare County Review, has been with the newspaper since September. She worked formerly for eight years at Clare Print and Pulp doing vinyl graphic design and worked before that at the Holiday Inn as the front desk manager.

Owner Mike Wilcox has 30 years of experience in the printing business, and owned several newspapers and a printing company in southern Michigan. He also owned the Clare County Review for three years between 1988 and 1991 and purchased it again in 2008.

She and husband Dave have six children, four of whom attend Farwell Schools.
