Edmund Thomas Hines-age 60 of Farwell, went to be with his Lord, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI.
He was born the son of Edmund Howard and Serafina (Rubino) Hines in Wyandotte, MI, on September 24, 1952.
On July, 1972, he married his beloved Myrtle Jean Mikels in Flint, MI., and together they raised three daughters. Edmund was self-employed and founded A.J. Electronics TV & VCR Repair. He was best known for his contagious sense of humor and creative story-telling. Edmund will be sadly missed by his wife of 40 years, Jean, his three daughters, Amy Brewer and husband Michael of Farwell; Sera Hines and Josh Henry of Farwell; Sandy Hines and Michael Guzowski of Farwell, his four grandchildren Ethan, Abigail, Austin, Emma, a brother Robert Hines and wife Carla of Southgate; a sister Patricia Sova and husband Lee of Southgate; godmother Doris Turson of Mt. Pleasant,several nieces and nephews, and many friends at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Clare.
He was preceded in death by his brother Gerald. A funeral service and celebration of his life is planned for Saturday, March 2, at 2PM, at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Clare. Rev. Ted Vaughn will officiate. Friends may visit at the church from 10AM-2PM, prior to the service. Please consider donations to the Family’s Wishes.
