Ethan Alexander Gage Loving Husband, adored Father and beloved son age 26 of Clare passed away suddenly Feb 4, 2019 due to an industrial accident. Ethan 2-8-19 OBIT Gagewas born July 2, 1992 in Lansing, MI.

Ethan leaves behind wife Samantha, daughters Annabelle and Tessa, parents, Norm and Carol Gage, brother, Gavin Gage, aunt & uncles, Ginny and Jeff Martlew,  Fred and Sheri Gage, uncle, Jon Bamberger, and was the son in law of Steve and Shelly Fair, cousins Erin & Dave Ongena, Chris and Sue Martlew, Tiphanie and Andy Charbonneau, Chris and Danielle Hicks, Alexis and Luis Caza and Katie Gage, brother and sister in Law Jonathon and Kayli Fair, and Matthew and Bethany Fair, nephews, Chael, Marcus and Thomas Fair, Grandparents-in-law, Floyd “Pa” and Sharlene Fair, and Freeda Brownridge, aunt and uncles, Donna and Dan Carncross, aunt Teresa Brownridge, uncle and aunt Kim and Sandy Fair, and uncle Richard Fair, many cousins, and dear friends.
He was predeceased by Grandparents, Gavin and Beverly Bruce, Ruthann and Hap Walters, Grand Father Earl Gage, Aunt Dana Bamberger and Aunt Melissa Gage, and Grandfather in law Don Brownridge.

Ethan was a 2010 graduate of Clare high school.  He was a part of the 2010 dream “36” football team of Clare High school. Like his Grandma Beverly, which he never met; he would have a stab at trying most anything.  He was a part of the High School wrestling team and ran his own lawn care business before graduating from high school.  Ethan was a member of the Harrison Fire Dept before moving to Clare and joining the Clare Fire Department.

He loved to hunt and fish, owning his own row boat that he saved his money for at the age of 14.  He planted trees for an apple orchard with hopes someday of having a place for families to gather and enjoy hayrides, and autumn fun.  Ethan was learning to fly and was well on the way to obtaining his pilot license.  He loved to fly.

Ethan was an Eagle Scout and had been a member of Boy Scout Troop 720 in Clare.

Ethan married the love of his life, Samantha Fair December 31, 2011. Together they built a solid life on Christian principles.  Together they had two beautiful daughters.   Ethan was a shareholder of Fair Salvage Company and manager of Fair Waste Services.

Ethan was a Lieutenant on the Clare Fire Dept.  He loved being a firefighter.

He loved to take day trips and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He loved the Thrive Church and worked tirelessly working in Christian service.
He had a strong faith and the belief in his Lord and Savior. He loved his community.  He was the first to offer help when someone needed it.

Ethan was loved by everyone he knew and the world will surely miss him.   Heaven gained another angel.

In lieu of flowers: donations in memory of Ethan may be made to the Thrive Church building fund.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 9, at 11:00 AM at the Brown Corners United Brethren Church, 5540 S. Clare Ave., Clare, Michigan with his pastor, Jason Raitz officiating.

Friends may meet with his family at the Church on Friday, Feb. 8, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.  A luncheon will follow the funeral service and private interment will take place in Vernon Township Cemetery.  If you are unable to attend, you are invited to leave an online condolence message at www.stephenson-wyman.com
