Evelyn was born on April 13, 1946, the daughter of Marion (Keig) and Harry Bellinger. Evelyn attended Clare Public Schools and graduated from Clare High School. She later attended and graduated from Central Michigan University – Phi Cappa Phi. She was employed with Big Brothers/Big Sisters as a counselor and then was promoted to a director. After her employment with Big Brother/Big Sisters she then was employed with Listening Ear.
Evelyn enjoyed helping her friends and neighbors. Her hobbies included playing cards, listening to music, reading books and watching t.v. She also enjoyed sightseeing and made trips to New York and Arizona to visit her sons. Evelyn enjoyed going for Sunday drives, especially if it included an ice cream cone. Evelyn was especially happy to be a grandma and loved to spend time with family and friends and loved the companionship of her beloved cats.
Evelyn is survived by her sons: Jeff (Karen) Warner of Sanford, Greg Warner of New York City, New York, 4 grandchildren: Sam & Nick both of Sanford and Abigail & Joseph both of Kansas City, Kansas. She is also survived by her 2 brothers: Jim (Nancy) Humphrey of Spring Lake, John (Diane) Keig Jr. of Freemont, Arizona, 3 sisters: Elyce Ludwick of Louisville, Kentucky, Debra Lomon of Yates Center, Kansas and Diana Bradley of Houston, Texas, 1 aunt Gloria Olson of Empire and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
