03-27-15 OBIT Brewer obit mfWilliam “Bill” Ferdie Brewer 61 of Lake passed away suddenly on Monday, March 23, 2015 at his home. Bill was born May 25, 1953 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, the son of Ferdie Lester and Patricia Ann (Lane) Brewer. Mr. Brewer had resided in Lake since 2010, coming from the Stevenson Lake area and previously from Clare.

Bill enjoyed farming, driving truck, operating any type of equipment, going to St. Ignace, Michigan, to attend the “Big Rig” truck shows. His greatest passion was sitting at the table with family and friends enjoying a cup of coffee and telling stories.

Surviving Mr. Brewer is his life companion of fifteen years, Ms. Cheryl L. Mangus of Lake, one daughter, Jeanifer Brewer and fiancé, Timothy D. Loomis of Weidman, Michigan, two sons: William “Billy” Brewer II and Christina of Gardner, Kansas and Richard “Rusty” Brewer and Ashley Smith of Mt. Pleasant, one step-daughter, Angie Tuttle of Remus, Michigan, twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister, Jean Winters of Clare, two brothers: Robert “Bob” Brewer and Denise Bachman of Clare and Tommy “Tom” Brewer and Cindy of Lake George, Michigan, plus many nieces, nephews and close friends. Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Bill will take place Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from Campbell-Stocking Family Funeral Home, Farwell, with Mr. Mark Salchert officiating. Visitation for Mr. Brewer will take place on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Campbell-Stocking Family Funeral Home, Farwell.
