One man trapped after crash

A Gladwin man was trapped in a pickup after a two vehicle crash on Beaverton Road and Bailey Lake Avenue Monday morning.
Clare County Lt. Mike Bailey reported that the accident happened when a Chevrolet pickup, driven south  by 22-year old Tyler Donn of Gladwin, pulled out in front of a Buick LaCross driven by Gladys Dargler, 51 of Gladwin, at the intersection.
Donn was driving south on Bailey Lake while Dargler was westbound.

Bailey’s release said the impact of the crash caused the pickup to roll over, trapping one of Donn’s two passengers in the vehicle. The passengers were a 43 yearold and a 46 year old, both of Gladwin,.The trapped 43-year-old was extricated from the vehicle by Clare Fire Department with the assistance of the Beaverton Fire Department.

All three occupants of the truck were treated at the scene by Mobile Medical Ambulance Service and the 43 year-old man was transported to MidMichigan Medical Center – Clare for further treatment of his injuries.

Dargler was not injured in the accident, which Bailey said is still under investigation.
