Hope In Harrison (formerly Hope Pregnancy Center) has moved to a new location. Their new office space was completely remodeled by the Clare/Gladwin RESD Construction Trades Students during the 2012-2013 school year. Jon Hoerauf, Executive Director of Hope In Harrison, said, “The 26 kids from five of our local High Schools did an excellent job with this project. I am very pleased with their work and would be happy to work with them again.”
With the move comes new programs – and a new name. “We have added a program called ‘High Impact Mentoring’ which offers one-on-one mentoring for young men from 17 to 30 years old,” said Hoerauf. “We are also developing an abstinence education curriculum that we will make available to schools and churches in both Clare and Gladwin Counties.”
Hope In Harrison is hosting an Open House on July 18th from 4:00-7:00 PM. They will be offering free hot dogs and drinks to anyone who stops by for a tour. If you have any questions, you can contact them at 989-539-3911 or www.HopeInHarrison.org.
