Clare Police are looking for one of two men caught on video during a break-in April 18 at Benchley Brother’s Dealership in Clare.

Chief Brian Gregory said the incident was reported at 11:45 p.m. and apparently happened around 10:32 p.m. last Thursday.

The two were filmed stealing tires from the dealership. One suspect (wearing a ball cap) was wearing a leg brace on his left knee and appeared to be walking with difficulty. Chief Gregory said the 44 year-old Beaverton man turned himself into Police Wednesday morning and was arrested.

The second suspect is reportedly still at large, the Chief said. “We are following multiple leads and expect a second arrest soon.” Anyone with information about the incident is asked to Call Chief Gregory at 989-386-2121.
