Harrison man crashes car, arrested for domestic violence

Clare County Deputies, assisting bond agents, apprehended a Harrison man wanted for domestic violence and violating his bond, November 29th.

Deputies were called to the area near Park and Lake Streets in Harrison to help the agents with the apprehension of Jeffrey Bailey, wanted on warrants for domestic violence and violating his bond conditions.

Bailey had crashed his 2007 purple Chevy HHR and escaped from the bond agents on foot. Deputies and a K9 officer found the man in the area and placed him under arrest.

On November 30th the Clare County Prosecutor’s Office authorized charges against Bailey for interfering with an electronic device and two counts of domestic violence. He was arraigned on the charges in 80th District Court by Magistrate Steven Worpell and his bond was set at $250,000/ten percent.

He remains lodged in the Clare County Jail.
