Thieves caught after search

Clare County Deputies were able to stop a break-in at a Hamilton Township residence Wednesday.
Deputies responding to a “possible break-in” at the home in the 6000 block of Mostetler Road arrived to find the break-in in progress.

One of the suspects spotted the deputy and three ran from the scene. The deputy identified two of the men and described the third and after a two-hour seach of the area, all three were arrested while attempting to leave the area in a vehicle.
All three suspects, an 18, 19 and 20 year-old, were arrested and are awaiting arraignment in 80th District Court.

On 9-5-13 the following people were arraigned in 80th District Court by Magistrate Karen Willing:

Cameron Cartlton, age 18 of Harrison, was arraigned on Home Invasion 2nd, Conspiracy to Commit Home Invasion 2nd, and a bond revocation for a previous charge regarding stolen property. His bond was set at $50,300 cash. He remains lodged in the Clare County Jail.

Damian Carlton, age 19 of Harrison, was arraigned on Home Invasion 2nd, Conspiracy to Commit Home Invasion 2nd, Habitual Offense 2nd Offense Notice, and a Probation Violation. His bond was set at $52,000 cash. He remains lodged in the Clare County Jail.

Jordan Cartlon, age 20 of Harrison, was arraigned on Home Invasion 2nd, Conspiracy to Commit Home Invasion 2nd, and Habitual Offender 4th Offense Notice. His bond was set at $50,000 cash. He remains lodged in the Clare County Jail.
