Nicholas Tyler Vasher

Nicholas Tyler Vasher, of Harrison, plead guilty on July 22, 2019, to Animals – Killing/Torturing Third Degree and habitual offender second offense notice.

The plea was the result of an investigation conducted by the Clare County Sheriff’s Department in June 2019, where it was reported that Vasher was behaving erratically, had entered a residence not his own, then killed a dog outside.

He was sentenced on August 21, 2019, by Judge Evans to serve 18 months to 6 years with credit for 67 days served.

He was ordered to pay $1686 in associated fines, costs, and fees.

The Court did not object to Vasher entering a special placement program if he was eligible.
