Clare City Police are still looking for information on a possible break-in between 5 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Congregational Church.
Clare Police Chief Brian Gregory said there was no forced entry and nothing appeared to have been taken but reportedly a knife for the kitchen area was used to open a locked office door.

Church personnel found papers “strewn around” and the knife from the kitchen inside the office. No other evidence was found.

“We don’t know how access to the church was gained,” Gregory said.
