The MidMichigan Health Board of Directors elected Diane Postler-Slattery , Ph.D. , F.A.C.H.E. , President and CEO of MidMichigan Health at its January 14 board meeting. Former President and CEO Richard M. Reynolds was elected president emeritus.
Postler-Slattery was selected following a national search. She has been with MidMichigan Health since December in a transition phase with Reynolds.

I am learning a great deal about MidMichigan’s quality and physician expertise , and I look forward to helping make a great organization even better.”
Postler-Slattery comes to MidMichigan from Aspirus Inc. in Wausau , Wisc. , where she was president and chief operating officer of the 325-bed regional referral hospital , Aspirus Hospital , since 2005. She also held a system-level position as senior vice president of quality and extended services at Aspirus Inc. Prior to this position she was chief operating officer and chief nurse executive of Aspirus Wausua Hospital where she established the vision for nursing practice leading to national recognition.
She earned her Ph.D. in education administration in 1995 from the University of Wisconsin – Madison . She received both her Master of Science degree in nursing/nursing administration and Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire . All of her degrees were earned with honors.
