Rosebush man arrested for Malley break-in

A 28 year-old Rosebush man was arrested Wednesday for a break in around 11:45 a.m. at Malley Well Drilling in Lincoln Township.

The Isabella County Sheriff’s Department said they received a 911 call that the larceny was in progress at the business. The caller reported the theft of items and that some employees were chasing the suspect on foot in a wooded area northeast of the business.

The suspect was caught and was in possession of brass fittings and piping supplies valued at approximately $300 and in possession of Xanax, drug paraphernalia and several needles.

The man, whose name had not been released at press time, was lodged at the Isabella County Jail and scheduled for arraignment Thursday afternoon.
