Totten’s arrest came after a two-month long investigation into malicious postings made by the suspect on the Morning Sun’s On-Line newspaper and in the newspaper’s Sound Off column. She reportedly used different names when posting the on-line comments, which targeted members of the Isabella County Adult Parole/Probation Office.

Totten was arrested Friday at her home and lodged in the Isabella County Jail. She was charged with stalking a woman who works in the Michigan Department of Corrections Isabella County Adult Probation office.

Reportedly during her arraignment Monday, she told Isabella County Magistrate Sandra Straus that she will plead guilty to the misdemeanors.

Her bond was set at $12,000/10 percent. She was also ordered not to have any contact with the alleged victim or anyone else in the probation department and is not to leave Michigan without written permission from the court.
