Harrison played at Coleman Monday night, picking up a lopsided 53-27 win in non-conference girls basketball.
The Lady Hornets and Lady Comets played to a 7-7 tie after the first quarter, but Harrison pulled ahead 21-10 at the half. Harrison had its best frame in the third, outscoring Coleman 23-7 in the period to lead 43-17 entering the fourth. Coleman outscored Harrison 10-9 in the final stanza.
“We had a little hard time getting going, but we adjusted our offense and we kicked it in gear,” Harrison head coach Kelly Cook said. “Our guards really saw their teammates in the offense and distributed the ball evenly to the posts. Our turnovers were considerably down which helped keep their touches low.”

Brooke Colville had five points and one steal, Katelynn Sherrick had four points and seven assists and Olivia Sharp had four points, eight rebounds and two assists.
