“The Way We Worked” will open in Clare with a special ribbon cutting celebration on April 9th from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The exhibit will run during normal library hours until May 18th, 2013. The exhibit celebration will include a presentation by Robert Knapp, author and Clare Historian. Mr. Knapp will talk about local work history in the Clare area.
The Pere Marquette District Library and the surrounding community have been expressly chosen by the Michigan Humanities Council to host “The Way We Worked” as part of the Museum on Main Street project – a national/state/local partnership to bring exhibitions and programs to rural cultural organizations.
