The Farwell softball team kept its perfect Jack Pine Conference record intact with a pair of lopsided wins in Roscommon Tuesday night, easily handling the Lady Bucks 20-0 and 11-0.
Kate Saupe continued her dominate work in game one, tossing a no-hitter and striking out five batters.
Jessie Theisen had a double and three RBI, Kelsey Seiter had two hits and two RBI, Caron White had two singles and four RBI and Alesha Luster had two singles and two runs.
White was the winner in game two, giving up two hits and striking out seven batters. Saupe paced the Lady Eagle offense with a double and two RBI.
On Thursday, May 1 the lady Eagles swept visiting Gladwin in two more JPC games, 6-0 and 9-4.
Saupe had 16 strikeouts in the first game
Theisen had a grand-slam to pace the offense and Ashley Mathis had a single and an RBI.
Saupe one-upped herself with 17 strikeouts in the night-cap and hit a pair of home runs and had six RBI.
Bekkah Averill had a double, two singles and scored twice, White had a hit and scored twice and Ashley Mathis had a hit and an RBI.
Farwell (19-4 overall, 8-0 JPC) hosted Meridian in a key league game on Thursday, plays at Marysville on Saturday and plays in Clare on Tuesday.
