The Farwell varsity golf team traveled to Lake City on Friday, taking first place in their division in the Terry Thompson-Lake City Golf Invitational with a team score of 312.
“This was a great day for the team,” Farwell head coach Bernie Starnes said. “The kids were thrilled.”
Nicholas Saupe, Sean Robison and Mitch Nordstrom all shot a 77, with Taylor Larrabee and Keith Cambell both carding an 81. The team score of 312 is a new 18-hole school record.
Farwell competes at Chippewa Hills tonight (Friday) and competes at Standish-Sterling May 13.
