Farwell’s Odykirk wins state 100 meter dash

Farwell junior Jenna Odykirk has had a track season to remember this spring. Odykirk added to that wall of memories on Saturday, when she won the 100 meter dash at the division three state finals at Comstock Park.

Odykirk ran a personal best time of 12.63 to become state champion and she was also second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.89. Odykirk was also 16th in the long jump.

Lillian Albaugh added a fourth place finish in the shot put.”

Harrison also had its boys team there, taking 29th place.

Tyler Head was second in the 110 hurdles, timing out at 14.74. Hugh Brand was 16th in the discus. The Lady Hornets had Krystal Steele place 24th.
