The Harrison boys basketball team saw their season end at the hands of a strong Manton squad on Wednesday, March 11. The Hornets were playing in the division three Laky City district, but the Rangers proved to be too much as Harrison fell 71-35.

Harrison fell behind early and faced a 33-14 hole at the half and trailed 41-19 entering the fourth.

“I felt we played very good against a solid team,” head coach Kelly Cook said. “Their speed made the difference. Manton got hot from three, but I told my team they had to beat us from the outside and they did just that. Manton shutdown Lucas Cooper and Cam Ashcroft.”

Isaac Raden led Manton with 17 points.

Stats for the Hornets were not available at press time.

Harrison finishes the season 5-15 overall.
