Clare found its road baseball doubleheader at Meridian unkind Tuesday night, as the Mustangs swept away the Pioneers 5-1 and 12-1 in Jack Pine Conference play.
Charlie Bugbee suffered the loss in game one, despite pitching well according to head coach Skeet Colosky.

Travis Vida suffered the loss in game two, while Bugbee roped a solo home run for Clare’s only game in the game.
“We need to play better defense,” Colosky said. “We let a lot of opportunities get away.”

Clare (5-5 overall, 0-2 JPC) hosted Roscommon on Thursday and hosts Beaverton on Tuesday.
