A rollover in the early morning hours Saturday sent three from Clare County to the hospital, a news release from the Clare County Sheriff’s Department said.

Kamron Jarman, 24, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado crew cab pickup on Harrison Avenue near Maple Road in Grant Township around 5:51 a.m. January 23rd when the accident happened. He told officers he swerved to miss a deer, ran off the road and his pickup rolled over.

Jarman and two of the five passengers with him were injured and taken by ambulance to MidMichigan Medical Center in Clare. Three other passengers were also injured but declined to seek medical treatment.
Samantha Tomaski, 20 of Clare and Dustin Owens, 24, also of Clare were taken to the Clare ER. Tomaski, who was the middle passenger in the front seat and not wearing a seat belt was thrown from the vehicle, the release said.

The release said alcohol was a factor in the accident. Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Clare City Police and Clare Fire Department.
