The Michigan State Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred on 07/22/14 at approximately 8:17 P.M, near the intersection of W. Coleman Road and N. Littlefield Road, Gilmore Township, Isabella County.

The preliminary investigation determined that a 1999 Peterbilt tractor trailer was traveling eastbound on W. Coleman Rd., while a 2005 Pontiac G6 was traveling southbound on N. Littlefield Road.  The Pontiac made a right turn onto W. The driver of the tractor trailer, a 43 year old male from Farwell, was transported to McLaren Central Michigan for non-life threatening medical treatment by MMR.

The Michigan State Police were assisted by personnel from the Isabella County Sheriff Department, Mobile Medical Response, Aeromed, Nottawa – Sherman Twp. Fire Department, and the Isabella County Medical Examiner.
