A possible head injury sent a Traverse City woman to the hospital April 4th when her westbound 2010 Chevy Malibu was hit at the corner of Harrison Avenue and Surrey Road.

Aubrey Dysinger was headed west on Surrey, when a northbound 2015 Hyundai Sonata on Harrison Avenue driven by Jacob Hadley of Farwell failed to stop and the two vehicles collided.

Clare Fire Chief Jim Chapman said the department’s rescue units were first on the scene because they were “just around the corner” at a grass fire off Kapplinger Drive at the time. The call came in at 2:40 p.m.

Chapman said Dysinger was transported to MidMichigan Medical Center by Mobile Medical Response Ambulance Service where she was treated and released. Hadley and a passenger in his vehicle had minor injuries and sought their own treatment.

The Clare County Sheriff’s Office and MMR also responded to the accident scene.
