Undersheriff Dwayne Miedzianowski said he resigned late Thursday morning from the department. No reason was given for his resignation.

Clare County Prosecutor Michelle Ambrozaitis said she learned of his resignation when the Sheriff’s Department sent her a memo. “I received the message that he had resigned and the department ‘wished him well’,” she said.

The Undersheriff said Coon’s letter of resignation also thanked the department. He had been with the Clare County Sheriff’s Department since October, 1991, Sheriff John Wilson said.

Wilson said, “He was a good detective solving many of crimes in this and other counties.  We wish him well in his future endeavors.”

Thanks for the photo of Coon, it may go good on A dart board.
Resigned?? bet someone finally caught up with his style- if anyone knows what I mean. Everyone wishes him well/ big gag on this COON.. Big gag for the co. too.. Not going to let this out to the public. He thanked the dept. how professional.
The prosecutor got a memo, guess there’s no formal charges and they also wish him well. Gosh, what a shock to everyone.
His resignation was accepted w/out question I would guess and he is former.
Not to be concerned, there are plenty rock piles around he can work at.

Wow bigd! Either you’re just joking here, or perhaps I didn’t know him as well as I “assumed” I did?

No joke here, perhaps you and the majority didn’t know.
It would be interesting to know how many had a hand shake for him at his “good luck Coon departure”..
One part of the SHORT article was interesting: He solved many crimes in this county/others.. It should have read: HE TOOK CREDIT FOR SOLVING..
After all he has been a real ASSet.
