Foundation funds will be used to provide programs which seek to prevent dating violence by promoting healthy relationships, engage youth as teen leaders and advocates, and/or address impact of technology on dating violence.

It is the Ultimate goal to assist youth and young adult students to learn and experience healthy relationships and avoiding and/or dealing with sexual assault. Definitely the students themselves benefit but so will their families present and in the future. In this process the community in general benefits as we decrease those individuals living in unhealthy relationships.

Women’s Aid Service, Inc. will utilize a spectrum of prevention strategies to prevent the perpetration of sexual violence. The target population that WAS will focus upon is youth in the community.  The desired outcomes of implementing programming is a reduction of violence in the community and people feeling empowered in the community to prevent sexual and relationship intimidation, control and violence.
