YAC organizes coat drive

Have you cleaned out your closet yet?  Is you winter coat a little tight?  Consider donating it to the Clare County Youth Action Council (YAC) be given to needy families in Clare County.

The Youth Action Council is collecting lightly used winter coats, hats, gloves and mittens for the month of November.  We are accepting adult and youth sizes.   These coats will be given to families attending the Project Kids Christmas event on December 7th.  Coats, hats, mittens can be dropped off at the following locations:

Clare: Witbeck’s, and Jay’s Sporting Goods.

Harrison:Kleen Gene Laundromat and Members First Credit Union.

Farwell:Buccilli Pizza and Carrow Supermarket

The Clare County Youth Action Council is a youth driven board under the Clare County Community Foundations.  The goals of the YAC is to grant funds to organizations making a difference in the youth in Clare County as well as doing community service projects.   Collecting coats this November is just one way to help families that are less fortunate.
