Police are still looking for two teenagers who disappeared from Isabella County more than a week ago.
Braxton Wood, 14, of Mt. Pleasant and Jayden Thomas, 13, of Clare left home, probably in a 2005 black Ford Explorer with the license plate number BCQ 4820 on Sunday, August 25.
Since then they have not been seen or heard from, although police did report that a camera caught the vehicle crossing the Mackinac Bridge last week.
Sgt. Tim Swanson of the Isabella County Sheriff’s Department also reportedly said cell phone towers in Bay City and Saginaw “pinged” the youngster’s phones, although an exact location wasn’t determined.
The Sheriff’s office is calling the two runaways, and an Amber Alert has not been issued, although the parents of both youngsters believe they are in danger.
Anyone who may have seen the two or the vehicle is urged to contact the police or call 911.
