POAM supports Wilson

October 25, 2012

Dear Editor,

The Police Officers Association of Michigan (POAM) and Command Officer Association of Michigan (COAM) are announcing their support for John Wilson on his re-election bid for Sheriff. Sheriff Wilson is a true asset to the citizens of Clare County. He has been a working sheriff who is also very open to meet with the citizens of Clar4e County whenever needed. Sheriff Wilson made a commitment when he took office to make Clare  County a safer place for you to live. Since that time, Sheriff Wilson has been able to place a Deputy in the bay Area Narcotics Enforcement Team (BAYANET) which has resulted in the take down of (7) seven meth labs and the arrest of several individuals for their involvement. Sheriff Wilson has given his Deputies and Detectives all the hours needed to take a stand in lowering the number of Home Invasions. Since he took office, over 1,000 Home Invasion Complaints have been solved. Sheriff John Wilson has brought many positive changes to not only his department but also the County Court house. The members of the POAM and the COAM ask the citizens of Clare County to help them and support Sheriff Wilson by voting November 6th for John Wilson. We are the people most impacted by your vote as the employee’s and ask that you support your local Sheriff Deputies by keeping John Wilson as our Boss and your Sheriff.
Thank you
