Greenhouse re-opens after March 29 fire

On March 29, Rainbows End Greenhouse, 6187 East Browns Rd. Clare experienced a fire that left owners Mary and Daniel Mast unsure of their businesses future. Thanks to a neighbors phone call firefighters responded quickly to the seen where the fire was extinguished and the extent of the damaged was assessed.

Within one week of the fire the Mast’s were able to rebuild. Thanks to the volunteers and generous donations of time and materials the greenhouse has been restored to its original productivity. Two-thirds of the plants were able to be saved and are recovering well with time and careful handling. Additional plants and materials were benevolently donated and have been a crucial part in the restoration of Rainbows End Greenhouse. Many thanks to those who volunteered materials as well as their time and energy to helping Rainbows End in its time of need!

On May 1st Rainbows End Greenhouse will be opening its doors once again! The greenhouse offers a variety of home grown plants. From an array of garden vegetables, hanging baskets, herbs, and landscaping flowers, Rainbows End has what you need to make this years planting season a perfect one!
