When a Mt. Pleasant State Police Trooper found a suspicious bag with meth lab ingredients in it recently, the MSP called in BAYANET.
According to information from the Mt. Pleasant State Police Post, the bag was found by Hayes Township Blight Officer Rodney Williams on Tuesday, April 21. He called the find into the MSP around 1:45 p.m. MSP Trooper Scott Taylor responded to the call and notified BAYANET.

The Bay Area Narcotics Enforcement Team disposed of the “lab,” which can be a serious health hazard, but they reported that they don’t have any suspects yet.
The meth lab components were found at the dead end of East Stockwell Street in Hayes Township where the street dead ends at U.S. 127 on the west side of the freeway.
The incident is still under investigation.
