MP woman arrested for fleeing cops

A 32-year-old Mt. Pleasant woman was arrested Monday after she led police on a brief chase through the city.
Mt. Pleasant City Police officers attempted to pull April McMullen over for an expired license plate around 1:30 p.m. Monday when she failed to stop. After a short pursuit, she pulled over at the corner of Broadway and Livingston streets in Mt. Pleasant.

Officers arrested McMullen for driving with a suspended license and for fleeing and eluding. Officers also determined the McMullen was intoxicated at the time.
She was taken to the Isabella County Jail, then arraigned in Isabella County Court on charges of operating while intoxicated (third offense); driving with a suspended license (second or subsequent offense); and with fleeing and eluding police.
Her bond was set at $20,000/ten percent.
